Food 4 Farmers has been awarded a $10,000 grant from Newman’s Own Foundation, the independent foundation created by the late actor and philanthropist, Paul Newman.

The award was made by Newman’s Own Foundation as part of its commitment to address issues of fresh food access and nutrition education. The grant will be used to bolster its food security work with coffee cooperatives and farmer associations representing over 8,000 families in Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, and Nicaragua.

“We’re very grateful for this generous financial support!” said Food 4 Farmers Co-Director Janice Nadworny. “By investing in our organization as a whole, the foundation makes it possible for us to build our capacity to spread the impact of our work to all our community partners, impacting thousands of smallholder coffee farmers and their families — rather than just one program or coffee-growing community.”
