We’re Running For Coffee!
Because achieving food security is a marathon, not a sprint
Celebrate our 8th anniversary participating in this event by supporting the Food 4 Farmers team!
Since 2011, we’ve partnered with coffee farmers and their communities in Latin America to overcome the “Thin Months” of seasonal hunger. Most high quality coffee we enjoy is grown by millions of smallholder coffee farmers. Coffee is also their main – or only – source of income. Year after year low coffee prices, rising food prices, and the effects of climate change prevent coffee farmers from earning enough to feed their families all year long.
We’re working with coffee cooperatives in Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, and Nicaragua, representing more than 3,000 families to build long-term solutions to hunger. We coach and connect coffee farmers and cooperatives with the expertise they need to implement effective, sustainable strategies to grow healthy food and diversify income, while making sure they have the right resources to thrive independently.
How you can help:
Every donor will be entered in a raffle to win a gift basket of coffee, honey, chocolate, and a fabulous Food 4 Farmers coffee fiber tee. If you donate $50 or more, you’ll be eligible to win a beautiful pair of Connie Coleman honey bee earrings!
This year, our goal is to raise at least $10,000. Your donation can go toward helping a team member raise money, or you can support the entire team. Click on the MAKE A DONATION button on this page, and you can choose either option on the donation form.
Or, you can mail your donation check to Food 4 Farmers, 523 Isham Road, Hinesburg, VT 05461.
